Well, I wish you the best of luck. If someone in the UK thinks the United Nations is the source for "definitions" on just what Human Rights are then you will be shit out of luck on that score. I don't know just which calibers are Olympic handgun sports calibers, other than the .22 so it seems to me the basis for this new movement sets its own limits far too low, with no way to go beyond. You might do better using the "sporting" guidelines accepted in other European countries where IPSC, or a version thereof, is accepted. In France self-defence is not a justification for firearm ownership, only sporting use. The day Olympic guidelines are adopted here in France means the end of my handguns.

Steve, you guys have an odd ball situation. You allow "moderators" which must be licensed in the USA, but getting above a 22 is a real pain from what I understand. When I lived there I had a 22 MU1 Vostock which was my target gun, but did get a license for a 357 Mag (which I never did get). I did belong to a gun club that had an indoor range, and also shot at Bisley.
Good luck! Living in the USA for a shooter is like dying and going to heaven!
Peter.

Seems like we the hunters, are under threat of extinction in most parts of the world, Looks like the good old U.S.A has most of the bits that could be called a redoubt, Ah well!, maybe I might scrape up enough left over beer tokens to go visit someday! Smiler
