Just hit the 6-month mark carrying my Glock 26 with the Streamlight TLR-6 ( https://gritroutdoors.com/stre...k-26-red-laser-69272 ) and wanted to share some hard-earned insights for anyone considering this setup.

The compact 100-lumen light and integrated laser have proven invaluable during evening dog walks, though the activation switches require deliberate pressure that took weeks to master. After 1,200+ rounds and daily carry, the laser maintains zero perfectly, but I did need to apply thread locker to the battery compartment after month four.

My Vedder LightTuck holster accommodates the TLR-6 beautifully, adding minimal printing - though the laser window does collect pocket lint that requires weekly cleaning. For those running similar setups: how often are you replacing batteries with regular low-light checks? Any solutions for faster activation under stress?

Attached my current EDC configuration - the TLR-6's low-profile design truly disappears under a t-shirt while adding critical nighttime capability. Curious to hear long-term experiences from other users.

Not the same thing, but my EDC is a G43X with a surefire xsc light in a Trex holster for OWB carry and a Vedder for IWB. My slide is also milled for a trijicon RMR CC and I have done the shield magazine conversion to allow me 15+1 capacity. 18 months of carrying daily except when travelling overseas.

I would’ve gone with the 26 but the 43X grip felt better.
