| You can check timing yourself; hold the EMPTY rev. by the frame/cyl & slowly cock the hammer. The cyl. should rotate & lock. If you have to help it into lock, then one or more cyl. is out of time. If it is still in time, try setting the gap a bit closer to 0.005". You probably have some wear on the forcing cone. I have an old Ruger SBH that suffers from this problem & the only fix is refacing the forcing cone.
