What makes the $$$...the provenance? Hofer in Ferlach will build one for a 1/4 the price. I'd be interested but 16 gauge ammo is a tough to find and expensive  | |||

I have been learning a bit about shotguns lately. Wouldn't a double with walls that thin be considered a sleeving candidate? What are you going to a three barrel gun when the walls get too thin? Maybe they were made thin from the start to help balance the gun. Boss could surely tell you how they measured when new. | |||

I would dearly love to get back to Alaska for your shoot in May, but I will be under the knife for a pair of hernias that week. Make no mistake I would certainly prefer shooting one of your big boomers, and meeting several people face to face that I know only from the internet!
