Right now I hear it is 12 - 18 months - this from people who have recently placed an order and not from Butch himself. I suggest you contact Butch directly for an accurate estimate. 577NitroExpress Double Rifle Shooters Society Francotte .470 Nitro Express If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming...

A call to the manufacturer would reveal the actual present wait time based on deposits received through today's date. However, my wait was 9 months, and if others chime in with their wait then we can calculate an average.

Delivery of our .577 will be 14 months or so. But that is because the extra engraving we're getting done. 577NitroExpress Double Rifle Shooters Society Francotte .470 Nitro Express If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming...

JTG, Sometimes, you get two different answers. In the shooting world, I've found the makers and modifiers to be more than a tad over optimistic on their turn around and it's obvious from seeing the posts around the net that some have a track record that is substantial. No experience with Searcy here. But, were I contemplating, I would be asking this very question in several places. Brent When there is lead in the air, there is hope in my heart -- MWH ~1996

Brent, The above quotation I posted was my own smart-ass way of making your point. Best, John

Ask Butch! He was off by 2 weeks with my 470...that's right on time as far as custom work is concerned! Good hunting, Andy ----------------------------- Thomas Jefferson: “To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
