WR made several grades of double rifles over the years. The best quality rifles had C-bolt lock ups. You can identify one by the opening lever. if it is very wide at its base it is a C-bolt gun. others were made with the more customary narrower opening lever base. Both are very high quality guns though and I have owned both types. 465H&H | |||

Might also be a WR drop lock, wouldn't that be nice to have? Although rare Westley also made sidelock double rifles. Many moons ago I had a sidelock maharaja gun that had been re-barreled to 300 H&H. Boy do I wish I still had that one. | |||
