No dog in this fight, but Collectors Firearms has a Krieghoff double with 375 H&H and 500 Nitro barrels. Asking 20K. Just thought I would put this out there.

The Krieghoff doubles don't seem to have the same "panache" as the more traditional rifles. $20K seems high to me, but in today's market, who knows.

I like K guns; easy to use, but some can't operate the safety/cocker.
Rifles are $12K or so; not sure about an extra set of barrels. But have to consider that.

I am no expert but I did sell my VC Demas 470 NE last year.

I had been trying to sell it for about 2 years and the market was slow. Not sure if it is because I am in NZ.

My understanding is that the K guns sell used good condition for anything from US$5k to $8k. Extra barrels $2k. Not sure how this particular rifle handles with 375 and 500 barrels. I think one uses a 20 gauge size frame and the other a 12 gauge size if they were separate rifles.

I think $20k is way more than I would even consider looking. That is just me. No offence intended to the seller.

True ... 10 Years ago. Different market today.

When I was looking for a new double late last year, early this year, I asked Biebs to help me locate a K-Gun in 450/400. He located several 500/416s and they all ran between $11,500 to $13,500 used. New K-Guns start at $16,500 these days.

Champlain has a used K-Gun in 375 Flanged right now listed at $9,950. That's the lease expensive one I've seen lately.

Today theres a big resurgence of doubke rifle shooting hunting abd vollecting the price is between 12 to 16 grands used.
