4th,1st, 3rd and 2nd from the left would be my ranking from a perspective of grain flow through the grip and strength. Looks come second in my book.

Number two is funky and pretty but that knot in the pistol grip gives me the heebi jeebies based on prior experience!

Butch,

The wood on your doubles are simply beautiful. The shape is outstanding as well. You make top notch rifles and at the prices you're charging for the field grades, they have to be the best value on the market! No doubt about that IMO.

I like number one and three (from the left) most because of the rounded or smooth notch at the beginning of the comb above the pistol grip.
That notch on number two and four appears a little to sharp look-wise.

Your idea of field grade wood is a lot different than mine. Those are what I call "safe queen" grade.

I like the second to the left the best, followed by the far left from a beauty stand point. I'd hunt any of them though!

I was hoping that one of these stocks might be mine but the cheek pieces are all on the wrong side. No sneak peek for me I will have to wait for mine to arrive at the door.

I think it'll shine quite nicely thanks. I asked Butch about the knot and he said it won't be a problem and with his lifetime guarantee, I won't worry about it.
