BiebsAll nice!

surestrike4th,1st, 3rd and 2nd from the left would be my ranking from a perspective of grain flow through the grip and strength. Looks come second in my book.
Number two is funky and pretty but that knot in the pistol grip gives me the heebi jeebies based on prior experience!

Todd WilliamsButch,
The wood on your doubles are simply beautiful. The shape is outstanding as well. You make top notch rifles and at the prices you're charging for the field grades, they have to be the best value on the market! No doubt about that IMO.

subsailor74Pretty darned nice Butch! Please post a photo of my 375 flanged once you get it stocked. I hope it will be as nice as these!

shootawayNice.

labdadBeautiful! One of these days, perhaps....
16 March 2013, 08:59
shootawayI like number one and three (from the left) most because of the rounded or smooth notch at the beginning of the comb above the pistol grip.
That notch on number two and four appears a little to sharp look-wise.

Use Enough GunNice Butch! I personally like the far right one the best!

But, they're all gorgeous!

16 March 2013, 23:17
SevensYour idea of field grade wood is a lot different than mine. Those are what I call "safe queen" grade.
I like the second to the left the best, followed by the far left from a beauty stand point. I'd hunt any of them though!

I need to start saving up for one of your guns Butch. I'm itching to get into a double.
17 March 2013, 06:03
kestrelI was hoping that one of these stocks might be mine but the cheek pieces are all on the wrong side. No sneak peek for me I will have to wait for mine to arrive at the door.
17 March 2013, 17:22

Definitely a beauty, I will be very happy and dancing like you are if it was mine, Any way I will settle for the 4th from the left.

Butch; if you call these field grade, what would the high grade looks like? Just asking.

Best regards

pagosawingnutI think it'll shine quite nicely thanks. I asked Butch about the knot and he said it won't be a problem and with his lifetime guarantee, I won't worry about it.

Order it and it'll be left handed with your choice of wood.

24 April 2013, 03:40
pagosawingnuttankhunter,
Unless something has changed, Butch is selling only 10 Field Grades per year at $8,750.00
Hell of a price for a nice rifle. I got his number if you need it
