Hymm and Jines, Both pre conceived ideas, much the same as I had, but should you ever get the opertunity to heft one, Id bet, like me, you would be amazed! It was a Rhodda as I recall, if not a Jefferys, both of which have heavy thick barrels, as most British doubles in 450-400 have, along with the somewhat large 470 action all of which gave that gun a heavy front end balance in the barrels, and I like that for off hand shooting..
