Tonight I am cooking a wild pig front shoulder that I killed on the DRSS hunt last Jan.

I use a Foodsaver machine that vacume packs the meat [or whatever].

This pork shoulder, when thawed out, looked just like it had just been shot.

These machines are well worth the money for the hunter.

Sounds delicious Tony!

+1 on the Foodsaver thumb

I am enjoying venison that I Foodsaver "preserved" for a much longer time than I thought possible. Freezer burn is greatly reduced if not eliminated! Highly recommend vacuum processors Big Grin

Thanks Gentlemen.

Tonight I did something semi-crazy.
I thawed out a small package of Texas deer, Wyoming elk, and Texas wild pig, sliced them into small pieces, seasoned them up, floured them up, and fried them in olive oil.

MMMM Good.
