Tonight I am cooking a wild pig front shoulder that I killed on the DRSS hunt last Jan. I use a Foodsaver machine that vacume packs the meat [or whatever]. This pork shoulder, when thawed out, looked just like it had just been shot. These machines are well worth the money for the hunter. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY | ||

Sounds delicious Tony! +1 on the Foodsaver  I am enjoying venison that I Foodsaver "preserved" for a much longer time than I thought possible. Freezer burn is greatly reduced if not eliminated! Thanks Gentlemen. Tonight I did something semi-crazy. I thawed out a small package of Texas deer, Wyoming elk, and Texas wild pig, sliced them into small pieces,seasoned them up, floured them up, and fried them in olive oil. MMMM Good. DOUBLE RIFLE SHOOTERS SOCIETY | |||
