Hello Fellow Double Rifle Shooters,
Graeme has advised me that his 4th Edition is printed and now on the way to him in Australia and his US Distributor:
Buffalo Arms
600 Vermeer Ct, Ponderay, Idaho, 83852
Phone Number
(208) 263-6953
They will be available sometime during the First Quarter, 2025 depending on shipping time to the US.
US and Canadian buyers, and dealers should order directly from Buffalo Arms. International buyers on AR should PM Graeme directly to buy his new book.

There's an additional 140 pages or so of new data as well as a lot of new photographs in it.

Here is direct input from Graeme Wright:

Hi Steve, sounds like you are having a great trip. The fourth edition has every section updated trying to get more complete and up to date information. Virtually all nitro and black powder cartridges are covered as well as more paradox information and also ball guns. Hopefully it will be well received. Cheers Graeme

I have called BUFFALO and asked them to add "MEDIA MAIL" rate.... $17.xx minimum USPS shipping is CRAZY...and will affect sales, in my opinion. I have asked Graeme to follow up as well!!
Should be about $7-8??
I KNOW, I KNOW....we shoot rounds at $10-20 each...It's just principle!!...and MEDIA MAIL takes a couple weeks....truly Snail Mail!!

I received a signed copy from a mate in OZ Last week. Lots of new information it is going to take some time to read it all. An excellent book as were the three previous. One can hope for more as components change and experience grows. From the 22 Stavage High Power to 4 Bore Rifle it covers most of the cartridges that one could expect to find in a British Double Rifle. My mate in OZ has told me this will be the last of the loading books by Graeme.

Cheers

Already I was beginning to fall into the African way of thinking: That if
you properly respect what you are after, and shoot it cleanly and on
the animal's terrain, if you imprison in your mind all the wonder of the
day from sky to smell to breeze to flowers—then you have not merely
killed an animal. You have lent immortality to a beast you have killed
because you loved him and wanted him forever so that you could always
recapture the day - Robert Ruark

The least expensive shipping option for me was over $25.00, which is nearly half the price of the book!

Ordered one from Buffalo arms, they shipped fast and it only took a few days to my house in Canada. Ordered one from Australia as well, just in case the Buffalo arms one didn't make it. So happy to have this book!

The market for the previous versions were very expensive, and I am just thrilled a 4th edition was released!

I bought it anyway.

It’s much heftier than prior editions and is a treasure trove of data and information.

Edited to add: Could do, however, with a better index.
