I am sure you are right about what a woodward will withstand

If I got consistant 2100 FPS I believe that would be just fine

99% of the time. Let's see as the spring time is here and it's

easier to get out and test fire.

Dave... The 500/416 was designed to use a slow burning powder....it is the only one out there where the standard regulation load from the factory used a real slow powder ...ie H1000

The new Norma Ammo using the 410grn woodleigh gives 2330fps at a miserly 28,500 PSI
Why would you go to reloader 15? You get a half full case, more pressure and less velocity? Reloader 15 in a big case like the 500/416 will probably move the 410grn Woodleigh right along at 2150fps at a max load
