Hopefully a few AR guys will be making it to the Vintagers shoot this year hosted by Hopkins Game Fair in Maryland. There will be many double rifle events as well as shotgun.

I will be attending, albeit as a vendor. My first time doing so. I have a lot of excitement for things to come, I hope that will be shared by others.

I recently made this backdrop for the booth, it should make me easy to spot.

I will have this conversion project there that is nearing completion. I also did the stocking.

Some of you might be familiar with the M70 .404 project I did a while ago. I just took delivery of it from the engraver. It will be presented at the show in-the-white.

I'm very excited to be showing the first three prototype round action trigger plate guns I'm doing. The first three will yield wonderful 9.3x74r, .375 fl, or you could even do a 28ga if you're into that kind of thing. Action is pictured in rough form, plenty of work to do.

I will have many other projects available to include; a BRNO SxS action perfectly suited for a 450-400 conversion, a Westley Richards reproduction 1897 single shot action ready to be made into a complete rifle best suited for .450ne size cases, a droplock reproduction action suited well for .303 British, and many other items.

Aaron;

Tell us about the sidelock conversion DR project that the above photo shows. What is caliber and what action is it?

Regards;
Steve

It's a lesser known Spanish sidelock H&H clone, can't recall the make at this moment. It was converted to .500 Linebaugh, a lower pressure revolver cartridge. The client does a lot of driven deer and hog hunts and carries a .500 linebaugh sidearm, he figured a long gun in the same caliber was worth having. Recoil is minimal, recoiling about like a 20ga with stout target loads.

Aaron, best of luck at Vintagers. I'd sure love to attend some day.
