Gentlemens:

Is there a source for good quality .375 H&H Flanged brass?

Thanks for your help.

Norma has recently cataloged the ammo. Blackhills Shooters Supply is the importer, you might check with them to see if they plan on having the brass.

Do they have it listed on their website?

Gentlemens:

Thanks a bunch for your help. I did not even know about Horneber.

I did check Norma's website and did not see the listing, but if they put it on paper they must be serious. Hopefully it will be a bit cheaper than the $2.50 a case Horneber is asking.

Thanks again,

Glenn

Flanged or Flanged Magnum, or both?

Good question, I had to go unpack the catalog to be sure. The answer is the "375 Flanged Magnum". The catalog shows 2 loads both with 350gr bullets (one soft and one solid) at 2200fps.
The catalog does not show brass as being available only loaded ammo, but hopefully that will change.

Up until fairly recently, Buffalo Arms was still showing stock on the last of the BeLL brass that they purchased when Mast Tech got out of the Nitro Express brass business.

But I just checked their website and they are not listing it anymore. Fortunately, I picked up quite a bit when it was available.

If you're in need, pm me and I might be willing to part with some. It's good quality brass and would be a bit cheaper than the Horneber.

Good info. I had not seen that. I guess that seals the deal on my next caliber choice.

Gentlemens:

I must confess that this rifle is going to be a single shot, built on a Dan'l Fraser falling block action. I knew this would be the place to come for the information, and I thank you all.

I was originally considering the .375 x 2-1/2 N. E. as it is of the correct time frame for the action. Howsomever, it seems more practical to chamber for the Flanged magnum and load it down if so desired.

It says; they are once fired 375 H&H Flanged Magnum Kynoch hulls in good condition. There are 64 hulls in the original 5 shot packs. All are in good condition without dents. He will ship internationally but wishes you to let him know if you are a foriegn bidder. The terms are cash or Überweisung (elctronic funds transfer). Remember, you are bidding in euro and the funds have to be transfered to him in euro.

Good luck

Thank you for the translation. It is much appreciated. I will keep my eye on the auction and see where it goes.

One thing to consider is that the Kynoch cases are most likely Berdan Primed, and thus a pain in the butt to reload, but you can do it with the proper tools and new berdan style primers.
