I seem to recall that there was a fellow in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming or thereabouts that did double rifle load development. Sort of specialized in nitro-for-black as I recall. You would send your rifle to him and he would work up a good shooting combination for the rifle. I just cannot remember his name. Trying to track this down for a friend.
Mike, would that name be Dick Winters? Dick was really sharp at developing loads for obsolete cartridges for old double rifles. Last heard from Dick in 2008 so don't know if he is still around.

That's Dick, he's still around, not doing as much regulating these days but I bet you can talk him into it. He no longer has a range out the back door so he has to drive to the range. I just spoke to him a couple of weeks ago.
