I have one, its ugly, but works, and i would ONLY use mild 45/70 trapdoor loads in it

ive had mine for close to a year.... tried the 350 gr rem factory loads, mine didnt like them... it will shoot thwe 405 springfield trapdoor loads into a 3" circle at 50 yds if i do my part... triggers are horrible about 4" worth of travel it seems and breaks like a ford pickup door... i paid right at $1k for mine, delivered, bought from pueblo sporting goods in pueblo colo... nobody in houston wanted to get any to sell.... stir... i waited for 3 yrs before i found mine, they finally hit the market and have since all but disapeared.... the 30-06's seem plentiful, as cheap as $700 on GB....mine is scoped with a el paso weaver with 3 weaver .22 tip-off rings.... so far so good.... like jeffe says, its ugly, but it works....

Own one in .30-06. I forget who wrote, but in regards to their small size and frailty, "only by Russian tractor standards." She is not pretty but works well. Mine came with abrasive compressed checkering on the stock, two triggers and two barrels. My point is, if you want a gun that works, but ain't pretty. Ding Ding Ding, we gotta winner.
