Don't own a double and no plans to, but I thought this looked nice. What do the experts say?

Quite nicely appointed, with the case, scope, and other extras. Might be tough using the hammers on a scoped DR, but it wouldn't be used as a Dangerous Game rifle anyway. Nicely done piece!

That scope seems very out of place on an exposed hammer gun !

i might be sounding a bit sour here, but slapping on a few nick nacks from the recknagle catalog and a slivers pad does not a custom gun make, putting it in a case and adding more nick nacks to that case, might be adding value, but it still is not a costum gun, the valnut is decent but no more than that.

keep looking there are better guns out there for a few dollars more.

best
