I've passed your message onto the owner of the first 600 made AND to a Jeffrey 577 3 1/4 Nitro which preceeds the first 600Nitro by 12 numbers. The guns are identical and we think it may have been made as a prototype prior to the first 600. I'll try and drag the Jeffrey Records out I have for both guns. | |||

Boy I'd just enjoy chatting with guys that have vintage 600 NE doubles. To get a chance to shoot one would be be a day I'd remember till God dulls my memory! On that note I again thank retreever [450 #2] and the Hawk men [577 NE] for allowing me to shoot their nice big bore doubles many months before I had bought my own described below.
