SAFARIKIDNEED HELP WITH BOOK ON DOUBLE RIFLES...600NE OWNERS PLEASE...
Hi fellow Big Bore Double owners...I have a great friend in Anchorage,a retired school teach and yearly African Hunter and Advid Double collector....OK,he is looking for willing owners of .600NE Doubles to maybe help a bit...here is his direct request "Tom:
Can you pass on my name and e-mail to anyone you know who owns a
vintage .600, please? I'm well on the way in gathering info for my book
and need as many owners of original .600s to contact me to get their
rifle's photo an specs in the book..Thanks, Cal"
His email is pappas@mtaonline.net
pappas@mtaonline.netI've passed your message onto the owner of the first 600 made AND to a Jeffrey 577 3 1/4 Nitro
which preceeds the first 600Nitro by 12 numbers.
The guns are identical and we think it may have been made as a prototype prior to the first 600.
I'll try and drag the Jeffrey Records out I have for both guns.

BigFiveJackBoy I'd just enjoy chatting with guys that have
vintage 600 NE doubles. To get a chance to shoot
one would be be a day I'd remember till God dulls
my memory!

On that note I again thank retreever [450 #2] and
the Hawk men [577 NE] for allowing me to shoot
their nice big bore doubles many months before I
had bought my own described below.
