All this talk of 450/400s etc. recently, I feel some of us haven't been taking note of the makers name on the barrels correctly........

I hate to be the one to tell you but the stamping on the barrel of my rifle is '450/400 NE 3"' the stamping on my Hornady brass is '450/400 NE 3"' and the stamping on my Hornady Dies is '450/400 NE 3"' none are stamped with a name so maybe thats not what I have whether it's spelled properly or not.. Actually the rifle WAS made by a company named Ruger.

Quit giving the guy a hard time!

Hornady was spelling it all sorts of ways, including JEFREY. I yelled at them and they supposedly have fixed the labeling on their boxes of cases and ammo. Smiler

The 450/400 3" is also called the 400 Jeffery. That's all he is trying to point out. Jeffery is probably mis-spelled more than any other name on the forum.

You can call me Jeff, you can call me Jeffery, you can call me Jeffrey but don't call me Ray!

Only the curmudgeons will understand the above, it goes back a long time.
