Can't find the thread now but based on recommendation, ordered a Butler Creek sling. Big disappointment. It is a cheap leather. When leather is cut, it leaves a sharp edge--no problem, a quick zip with a leather edging tool and you have a nice beveled edge not a sharp one. Butler Creek was obviously cutting corners on their product and omitted this step. Very shoddy workmanship. Certainly, they would know about the edging tool.

Learned that Bushnell owns Butler Creek. That explains why there is no quality in their product.

Love my Browning Buck Mark Western stitch leather rifle slings. Recently I ordered some Winchester logo leather Cobra rifle Slings from a company located in Canada. Canadian made and impeccable workmanship.
