On my first bear hunt in Ontario, my guide has warned me to be very still on the stand. I was still, alright. I fell asleep from the effects of a good meal at lunchtime. ( I was on stand since about 2PM) To this day, I don't know why I came awake. There was a bear on the bait. I got him. (Why can't I tell stories of tracking game and outwitting bears?) Smiler

I enjoy a nap while standhunting for deer, it´s part of the treat. An old wivestale says that if one doesn´t sleep at the stand no deer will come.

I´ve shot my share, ask boha. cheers
