A lady goes to the sporting goods dept to buy a rod and reel for her 11 year old grandson who likes lake fishing. She knows nothing about what to buy but just grabs a rod and reel and takes it to the counter where an associate wearing the blue vest and dark glasses is standing behind the register. She asks him to look at the combo to see if it would be a good gift for the boy. The clerk tells her that he's blind, so he can't look at it, but he tells her to just drop it on the glass showcase and from the sound he can advise her. She's skeptical, but she does it. He says, oh that's a 4 1/2' carbon fiber rod, and a Zebco 404 reel with 10# test line. Just ideal for the boy, plus it's on sale for $20. Grandma decides to take it and opens her purse to get a card, but she drops it on the floor. The clerk says that sounds like a Visa card, and it was. As granny bends over to pick it up she passes some gas. Since there are other shoppers in the department she isn't concerned that the clerk could tell that she was responsible, so she says nothing. She hands him the card and he runs it through and tells her it'll be $37.50. She says I thought you said the combo was on sale for $20. He replies, it is, but the duck call is $14, and the tub of catfish bait is $3.50!
