Here's a little more info about the Alamo. There were only 7 or 8 of the defenders that were born in Texas. And, all of them had Hispanic surnames. All of the heros of that battle (Crockett, Bowie, Travis etc...) were from elsewhere. While the Texans love to jump on the Alamo bandwagon and proclaim it as a historic battle for Texas, most are ignorant that the actual fighters were from all over the USA. It was an American battle, not strictly a Texan battle. But, you'll never hear a Texan publicly admit that. |

| TEjas Independance day is March 3rd.We celebrate it here. For what its worth;there was supposedly one of the new Colt Patterson revolvers at the Alamo.Considering that it was made in 1836 in Hartford,Conn. + then made its way to Texas by March.......GOD but a time machine if only to observe would be......
Never mistake motion for action.
