I was out walking the other day when I noticed something yellow glinting among the branches of a tree.
Being winter the tree had no leaves or buds, just branches and twigs.
When I got closer I realised the yellow thing was cylindrical, so found a dead branch and knocked it down.
It turned out to be a 30-06 cartridge, which surprised me.

It was the first time I'd seen a cartridge in a bare tree.

....now that's clever
