Looking for a new adventure as a change from my Africa and Argentina/Uruguay hunting trips. Considering a fishing trip to Central America.

What type of week-long, multi-species itinerary would you guys suggest for a first timer?

Where, and what time of year? Outfitter suggestions? Pricing?

I've talked to a few of the outfitters at SCI and frankly, I was turned off by the high-pressure, obviously high-volume sales pitches.

I'm open to a dedicated lodge, a hotel or even a mother ship type operation, although I think I'd prefer the lodge / hotel thing.

Any insight to get me started will be greatly appreciated.

Costa Rica has outstanding seasonal fishing for Sailfish, Striped, blue and black Marlin, Dorado, Tuna and Wahoo. Good accommodations, food and charter boats.
Inshore sport fishing in Costa Rica’s Golfo Dulce for Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, Jack Crevalle, Bluefin Trevally, Sierra Mackerel, Tripletail, and Grouper is excellent throughout the year.
I have contacts to DIY or full package fishing trips if your interested in CR.

After a lot of research I just made reservations at Pacific Fin, Guatemala end of Feb. 2017. I can't wait!!!
