Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

overall, had a good trip but weather was a problem-rain, rain, and more rain on the Caribeanne side plus lots of wind. still managed to boat 4 tarpon and jump 12 more on a flyrod over 6 days of fishing. on the Pacific side, an earthquake 1 week prior to our arrival had scattered the bait schools and the offshore game fish with them. fished inshore for roosters, cubera, etc for 2 days and did well. ran offshore the last day and the bait schools were showing up again. raised 6 sails and boated 1( the others just whacked the teasers around and wouldn't take a bait) and hooked 1 blue marlin about 300-350 lbs. that came off on the second jump. a boat fishing close by hooked and landed a black marlin of about 500lbs. i have a feeling based on our last day of offshore that things were about to heat up again. the night life in San Jose was unchanged from previous trips-FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!

All in all - given the conditions - a great trip.
