Looks like Hot Core (my favorite!!!) and his buddy rcamuglia have been asked to/volunteered to take a wee break from their postings lately.

As a result these boards, IMO, have seemed to be more tolerant of differing opinions and the free exchange of information and experience has been coming forth without any concern for a butt chewing by these "gentlemen?".

I enjoy this type of informational exchange and learn more from it thanks to the experience of the posters on these boards.

What say ye???

Something makes me think that the OP's statement was concerned more with this particular topic area, not the ARPF. Just an opinion here.

Hot Core may have been your least favorite person but you didn’t do a very good job of defending yourself against him. You were always on the wrong end of a south bound train.

Why should he have to "defend" himself in the first place? That's the problem here. Some folks feel the need to attack others they disagree with. It stifles free thought and the whole forum breaks down into sides.

I guess some hang out here more for entertainment than information.

Just pitiful and pathetic! rotflmo (joke)

If a person makes out off of his "A" statement? why not point it out?

I find it interesting that you children feel the need to protect each other.

That really doesn't make a lot of sense Mick. Are you drinking and posting again? I thought you were only going to drink and read from now on.

I'm here teancum, watching, waiting, ready to strike like a viper Big Grin

I think it's funny and exactly as HC used to say. I'll paraphrase cuz I can't exactly quote.

"How much fun would this be if everybody AGREED on everything?"

Information is shared and topics debated. DISAGREEMENT is the basis for discussion and the positive outlet for its flow.

Don't get your panties in a wedgie when it gets "spirited" and "pointy". I think it's fun and try to not get my feelings hurt.

Do the same!

Check out teancum's tolerance on this thread.

Are the boards in general more "tolerant" since HC is away, or do some simply go out of their way to chase him around and be "intolerant"?

There's a way to banter by using intelligence and tongue-in-cheek humor and still knife You ought to learn how.

Your trash talking posts are purposely nasty, hateful, and classless.

Wow.....Hotsh$t..... you're pulling 48lbs. and shooting at 4 yards, a regular Fred Bear. I can't figure out if you're a fool or an idiot but its tending toward the fool for now.

I'm waiting for your dissertations on bow hunting and pontificating about the superiority of your opinions, again backed up with zero experience. Wait a second.......that never stopped the diarrhea of your mouth before.

Go back to the firearms forums you're not wanted here. Leave this forums before you spread rcamuglia all over it.

This forum is for bow hunters.

Hey IS,

You say you were a writer. Can you post some links to some of your published articles? I'm interested and I'm sure the membership is as well.

I just finished spending a week in Argentina with Layne Simpson and Nick Sisley. They've never heard of Santa Clause...

Did you read the thread?

Not everyone is an expert at everything. HC is a Bow Hunting Newby and posted all over the Bow Hunting forum to share his progress and ask questions for help.

What you see are tean's intolerant responses to simple questions that anyone would ask; nasty and hateful with no attempt to hide that.

Booting time!

No, it wasn't very nice. Maybe Teancum should follow the same advice.

All this crap needs to stop, and it needs to stop from all sides. There is enough in the archives that we can quote, select quote and re quote from now on. We could keep this up forever but why do it?

I'm not defending anyone here and I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to this crap. All I'm saying is we need to stop it. We all do. It's just pointless and not what this forum is for.

Arguments based on experience and results are interesting even when one (or more) in a discussion are incorrect in their conclusions.

When any discussion differences leave facts aside and degenerate to personal attacks and sliming those who disagree I just write them off as self-styled 'innerlecshul libruls' and ignore them. There are several to ignore here but I don't need an "ignore button", my eyes and mind can handle it easily so I really don't know if those people have gotten better.
