Hi everyone, I just received my new semi-custom rifle; a 26" Hart barrel on a Sako L579 action in a Harry Lawson Cochise stock. The barrel has a 1 in 14" twist. Can anyone recommend some loads based on a 70 grain bullet? I'll be using the NBT. Bobby B. | ||

I have a similiar rifle on a Sako 579, and mine is a 1 in 10 twist. I would recomend IMR 4831 and a normal work up to find your rifles accuracy. R22 or VV 165 would also give extraordinary velocities. You are going to love that rifle. Enjoy and good shooting Member NRA, SCI- Life #358 28+ years now!
