What is the bore diameter of a 23D in .22 Hornet? Is it .223 or .224?

The bore on mine and a shooting buddy's is .223. It is an accurate firearm with bullets made for the hornet in this diameter...RW

Mine is also .223. This was standard bore diameter for Hornet until the late '40's. I use .224's in mine, accuracy is good, no signs of excess pressure.
