i am considering a 17 fireball, however i am told that cleaning the bore can be an issue, does the 17 bore any different problems than a 22 size bore?thanks.mike

Very true. Handle carefully and there will be no trouble.

No issues. I have purchased every Rifle model made in that caliber, they are all easy shooters and very clean. I usually clean them every 100 rounds or so. I usually run a clean patch every 20 shots or so. I am most impressed with the Model 7 Predator, its the most acurate of the repeating bolt rifles. I fire 20-32 gr bullets, it likes them all.
