i am considering a 17 fireball,however i am told that cleaning the bore can be an issue,does the 17 bore any different problems than a 22 size bore?thanks.mike

df06Other than needing a .17 rod, jab, brushes etc, it's not a big deal at all.
Those .17 cleaning rods do kink easily, so be careful.

eurocentricNo issues. I have purchased every Rifle model made in that caliber, they are all easy shooters and very clean. I usually clean them every 100 rounds or so. I usually run a clean patch every 20 shots or so. I am most impressed with the Model 7 Predator, its the most acurate of the repeating bolt rifles.
I fire 20-32 gr bullets, it likes them all.
