| I've had a .17 Remington for a little over five years now. So far in my opinion the best performance has been with Berger 25 Gr. bullets. 30 Gr Bergers and Starke's are a close second. The primers I use are Remington 7.5's. Powders I've had several that have worked well but I'm partial to IMR 4320 and 3031. |

| Best load in my CZ in 24.5g's of varget under a 25g Berger bullet. This is max load in my rifle start lower and work up. Outstanding accuracy and flat, flat shooting. Good luck! |

| Thanks for the load suggestions. Any recommendations for a 17 caliber cleaning rod?

Buy a Dewey, The warrantee after the sale is what will keep you coming back. I called Dewey about a problem with one of their rods, long story short, they sent me a new handle assembly for free. Try it and you'll like it! Stepchild

| Proshot 17 rods are stiffer than Dewy rods. I found my Dewy way too flimsy and it bent easily.
