700lvsf in 17 remington

Had the opportunity to pick up a 700 rem lvsf in 17 rem at a reasonable price the other day. Going to the lease to do some hog hunting next week and plan to use it in conjunction with some predator calling. See if I can't bloody it. Did some load development and had pretty good luck with several powders. Pix as follows

17 rem * 25 gr hornady hollow point * 2.150 0al * rem 7-1/2 primers

24.7 gr. W 748 * 3954, 3882, 3908 fps


27 gr W 760 * 3839, 3794, 3833 fps


28 gr. W 760 * 4032, 3963,4004 fps

Do you have any Varget hanging around? Always worked real well for me and not as temp sensitive as 760 in the .17 Rem.
Nice looking rifle, looks like a shooter!
