Any Middlestead shooters?

I have some brass formed, and time to start loading for my 22-243 Middlestead. I will be focused on 68-69 grn bullets.
Anyone been down this path?

I've built a few for customers. They're throat eroders for sure.

I'm no stranger to over bore cartridges. I can shoot out my front door, so no need for a short shooting session. That way it is never shot when the barrel is hot.
A 264 mag with 2700 rounds a 240 Gibbs with a little over 2000, and one of my Swifts at close to 4000. They have all had their throats freshened up and bullets seated out, but all shoot as well as ever. I'm not worried about the Middlestead.

Ive had one for a couple of decades. I dont use it much for obvious reasons, but it is a fast centerfire 22. Usually run mine with 55 gr bullets though, it likes those. - dan

What barrel twist are you planning on getting?

The 68 and 69 grain bullets work great in my 1-10" twist 22.250AI but the plastic tipped 75 grain bullets won't stabilize in it. The next barrel that I get for this will be a 1:8" twist so I can shoot everything up to 80 grain bullets.

It's a 1-10 barrel, 27"
I have a couple thousand 68-69's. That is what I'm focusing on, got to use them up!
