For economy and quality, I use Winchester brass in 257 Roberts Plus P, for the 6.5 x 57 and just neck it up.

I neck size in subsequent reloadings until the brass needs to be full lengthed resized again. I use a 6.5 x 57 Die Set from RCBS.

This is my favorite cartridge.

Indeed, 1894, and those were with new, never-fired-before, cases.

In the forum "Your favourite loads, share them with us" you may find loads I published on the 6,5x57R.

I have never shot 140 grain bullets as I do not use my 6,5 in anything larger than deer or wild boar, and a 125gr partition is all I feel I may need.
