Have the oppurtunity on a Tac 20, just wanted to know about the useability of the barrel/twist rate - it has a 26" pac nor, 1:9 twist.

Would this be considered good?? What optimum rate bullet weight would this shoot with?

Cheers (getting closer to a "small calibre" at last!!)

I'd say the 39-50s will shoot just fine..depending on throat length...the 32-35s may work also...my two 20 cal Pac Nors are 12 twist/3 groove...40 V max main diet...

Does this mean that this barrel will have difficulty in stabilising the light bullets - that is the whole reason I want to with a little hot 20..... Confused

The 1:9" twist will stabilize anthing from 32-50 grains just fine. Getting the best accuracy from the lighter stuff may be the issue...
