Very nice, some nice figure and finish on that stock.
Good to see the scope mounted low too, not a criticism just an observation, I like full length bridge mounts on open topped actions which 'hide' the gap across the action making the scope mounting looking even lower. Also gets rid of mounting base overhang that occurs sometimes (as in the photo) when setting up ring spacing for scope eye relief.

Nice, nice, nice tu2

Nice handy rifle.

Proper scope mounting is the key to fast accurate shooting with an optic.

OK OK i swapped out the front, it just clears the bell for my eye relief. I think i had a gloss scope that was shorter before the Leuppy

Good little change and now nicer than nice. I'd be happy with that one

Re the cartridge, my brother had an Oberndorf Sporter Mauser Kurz in 250-3000 and it was a great little killer on red deer and chamois. The Hornady 117gr round nose bullet being the best performer of all bullets we tried in reloads. Can't recall what 100gr bullet we used when we couldn't get the 117gr but the sleek Hornady 120gr hollow point wouldn't stabilise in the Mauser.

In the meantime and lately I have picked up a FN commercial Mauser in original 250-3000 std wt 26"brrel skinny stocked beauty, one of my old pattern stocks and Im reshaping the factory stock. It shoots one hole about 30 to 35 caliber, Goes great with mt eavage 99 td in 250-3000. Love the caliber.
