Has anyone used the Norma 6.5mm 156 gr ORYX bullet? Will it stablize in a 1 in 8" barrel? Jim

In my 6.5 R Bar. the Norma does about 2.2" at 100 yds. the 160 gr. Hornady does better than MOA.Neither seems to be too load sensitive. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! That was my Whitetail bullet in a 6.5x55 Ruger I once owned. Worked quite well.

A few months back I bought a couple boxes for my 6.5x55, they shot great. The plan is to use them on something this coming year. Roger ___________________________ I'm a trophy hunter - until something better comes along. *we band of 45-70ers*

I normally shoot the 156gr Oryx in my Steyr Mannlicher in 6.5x55 and it shoots very tiny cloverleaf groups at 100 yards. Really good load for deer and maybe up to elk if properly placed, also good on black bear.
