I am a little confused on this twist Thing.
Last fall at a HBR Match 5 guys pooled an order for Lilja 1-7 twist barrels.
All of these guys were shootin 125 gr or less bullets in .30 cal.
I thought the fast twist was to stabilize heavy bullets and the lighter would shoot better around 1-14 to 1-12.
I must be missing something here?

Nope, you've got it right. Were these guys ordering 30 cal barrels with a 1-7", or something else?

Also, could they have been ordering them for some personal, non-BR weapons? Maybe a fast twist 22 for AR-15's, etc.

There I go Thinking again! Looked at the Lilja site 1-9 is the fastest they make in .30 cal and that is what they were buying.
Like I said they were shootng light bullets, so the only thing I can figure is they were wanting to be able to use hevier bullets in the wind?
