Well I have been warned by the ballistic lab that if the cartridges I sent them for testing breaks there bench I have to fix it. Maybe I should check to see what grade of bolts it is put together with.

Rich here are the "specs".

1 1/2" bore ML, fired w/lanyard and musket cap
256 lbs total weight, 6' smooth bore barrel
12,250 gr(+-)(1 lb 12 oz) TC cast WW projectile
1100 gr (2 1/2 oz) 1/2 oz FG, 2oz Cg BP

IF I get 1400fps, recoil is 486 ft lbs, @ 11fps. It does recoil 4-5'.

That hits most of the high points.

Here is three consecutive shots at 200 yds.


Now back to the 550 Gibbs, sorry for the hijacking.
