I had one built in in 87, really enjoyed it until I sold it to a friend. I have always thought about having another done but it hasn't made it to the front of the line in the wildcat line up since. .257 DGR, 25 Souper etc.

That was a succinct critique. Toss the Mouser and go less tube next time.

In fairness,I've only (3) rifles so chambered...22",23" and 24". Now say something about your loads and really ring the bell!

Curiously enough,284Win case trim length is 2.170" and when extrapolated in kind...do reveal nice things, despite their being oblivious to your feeble perceptors.

BUT at least, you'll always have your very vivid imagination to fuel your Dreams.

Don't think THAT ain't funny!

Thanks.

Looks to me like two, three shot groups with a hold change or a turret adjustment. As for being a "Good" group? Grab your sporter weight, step out the back door and shoot two 3 shot groups at 500 and post a pic. I would love to see it.

Sure.

Here's a couple of groups I shot with my Creedmoor.

Here's a 300 yard, 1/2" group:

Here's a 600 yard 1.4" group.

Now slink away and Go play with your buddy, Busheler....

It has nothing to do with Busheler, I can post pictures of hotrod groups all day. Seeing I have been playing the long range game for many years. Fact of the matter is, I could post pictures and witnesses to 600 and 1000 yards groups that would blow your mind. That has nothing to do with my statement. 500 yards with a sporter weight, I doubt your Creedmor is a sporter weight.

"Now slink away and Go play with your buddy, Busheler...."

The above statement, I believe to be way out of line.

You think it's out of line because Busheler is totally off his rocker and some folks have made you out to be his advocate.

My post about the groups he shot was to him.

It wasn't as good as a knowledgeable person would classify. You made up the scenario of an elevation change; something you can't say positively since the crazy guy didn't even state it in his original post. He would have if he knew that the 7 to 9 inch group wasn't really something to brag on.

Basically the guy was out of his mind and I was just trying to infuriate him when you noticed and defended him.

Please post your groups that are mind-blowing. I enjoy seeing great shooting

Confused, all I did was make a post as to what came to mind in the photo with the rifle and the hits on the plate. I imagine the first group was low, I would have held the top of the plate for the second group or threw 1 MOA up on my turret and held center. I wasn't defending anyone, siding with anyone or trying to rouse anyone. Respectable groups by a sporter weight rifle no matter who you are or how you look at it. As for a "Advocate" I don't know Busheler from Adam.

My whole point being, sporter weight rifles are a whole different game than what most of us shoot for the long stuff.

7mm WSM 9 twist Obermeyer...

Ladies,ladies,ladies...you are cracking me up! Simply try READING as all was/is plainly stated and I quote:

"Actually shooting 500yd comeups on the 5K 90gr HPBT Sierra's Midway blew out a while ago,for dirt cheap. BC is shit, but they'll Agg nice in calm conditions."

The .257" 90 HPBT SGK's were blown out for $7.99 a box as "seconds",as per Midway's usual Blem Sale(prefer Lock,Stock & Barrel's Blem Deals...but dat's an issue seperate,thus far). I typically tumble moly in lots of 1K.

Anywhoo, shooting comeups with a new batch of blems and staying .5MOA on the Maiden Voyage,do connect alotta dots nicely. I've copious faith in the erector pictured, but the 2nd's BC was niggling and spent primers are THE supreme means of confirmation...even when just gunning hastily, subtending a center mass hold and less a center aiming mark on the target proper. But admittedly,I'm a whole bunch good with a rifle.

Now she asks why the aforementioned BC lamentations, spelled out in black & white? Mebbe she can picture this?!!?

Though a pistole term, the 90 Sierra truly is a flying ashtray and pales miserably in BC to even the 80TTSX and of course the 100TSX(100 XLC still my favorite, due to it's better BC).

I LOVE speed/precision drills, though I'm no fun to shoot against. Because rc' likes to flap her gums,we'll play a little thing I call "Top It". Let's mebbe start with very modest BC's,some wind and small targets. 1-12" PacNor 223AI,50v-Max at 3750fps launch,at the 515yd line...on an egg.

Hoping SOMEONE is brazen enough,to open their yap and my fingers are crossed.
