404-375 H&H Hornady Dies
I just had a long conversation with an engineer at Hornady. He called to confirm a few things in regard to making 2 die sets for the 404-375 H&H. The MSRP cost for these 2 die sets will be $185.00. This die set will also allow the hand-loader to use Basic Hornady cases to form the parent case if they prefer instead of necking up standard 375 H&H case to begin with.

Hats off to Hornady once again for taking up the challenge when asked to do so.

I also just received 2 sets of Hornady 404-375 H&H Dies as well. I Just ran some of the Hornady basic brass through the sizing die and the results were as expected, excellent.

Any pics of fireformed and reloaded rounds. ??

Phil Shoemaker : "I went to a .30-06 on a fine old Mauser action. That worked successfully for a few years until a wounded, vindictive brown bear taught me that precise bullet placement is not always possible in thick alders, at spitting distances and when time is measured in split seconds. Lucky to come out of that lesson alive, I decided to look for a more suitable rifle."

Here's a picture of basic brass before resizing, a fire formed and then reloaded round and a 375 H&H factory round.
