Dr B The wildcat I built for testing our 22 bullets is based on a 270 Win case and is quite easy to do. It is also so similar to the 22-06 Easling that it makes no difference. 22-06 Easling form dies and die sets are available from Huntingtons, as are reamers. I converted a 220 Swift. I cannot think of another rifle I have owned that I ejoy as much as this one. It has the standard 1:14" twist of the Swift and shoots best with bullets that are around .65" long or shorter. If you build one from scratch, you should base it on a 1"8" twist so that you can shoot the longer (higher BC) bullets.

Did you say .223X54? Is this the 6.5X54mm Mannlicher-Schoenauer necked down? Or did you mean .223X64? "Bitte, trinks du nicht das Wasser. Dahin haben die Kuhen gesheissen."
