Vip, the STA does change the shoulder angle and maybe some dimensions, the STW is simply a 8mm necked down. Nope don't have a 358-8mm. Built a 358STA. As to fireforming. It is about as easy as it gets. Run the brass in die load and fire. The case headspaces on the rim. In my case I simply used my hunting load to form. I was not at the ragged top pressure Didn't even change the point of impact. Dies are cheaper than custom and off you go. You won't be shooting varmints so 100 cases or less will last forever. There is only maybe 4 or 5 grs of difference between them. You can get that much difference in brass brands. I sold the STA and bought a 358Norma. Other than recoil I gave up very little. My 24" STA accurate load was 2767 with a 250. My 19.75" Norma gives me 2700 with factory 250s. As usual just my $.02 Paul K | |||
