Has anyone done a 44-35 Rem or a 410-35 Rem?
Has anyone done a 44-35 Rem or a 410-35 Rem?
Thought it would be a nice lever 35 rem conversion with pistol bullets.
Casemouth headspacing or extractor headspacing can be tricky but a shoulder could be had if starting from 308 brass for the 410 version.

The 35 has so little should already I think you might have alot of headspacing issues.


After the first shot the rest are just noise

Timming the .444 Marlin down a touch would be much the same cartridge and would have a rim to headspace.

Thought about the 44/35rem. Might make a good cartridge to use in the AR15 platform. Kind of like an enhanced 445 supermag or an extra long 44 automag.

The .44 on a .358 Win case has been done by Mike Bellm for the Contender/Encore single shot platform..but that headspaces on the rim.SSK Industries has a ,41 on the ,444 Marlin case, Called the .411 JDJ. A real hammer in a 14 inch contender.
