I wonder how close that would be to the 275 Rigby? Maybe you could neck the Rigby down to .25 caliber and then you're talking.

With all these neat new rounds we surely need a new action for them. I will simplify the current one--lets reduce the 9 lugs to 2 then put the extractor on the outside so it doesnt need those fiddly springs and maybe move the safety to the cocking peice-Ya'll reckon it might work?

How about taking the 6.5x284 and necking up to 7mm? I would call it a 7x284. Now that sounds cool!
