yumastepside400 Whelen case capacity ?
From what I've read, it varies considerably from case brand to case brand and chamber to chamber....so if you have a 400 Whelen, can you measure the case capacity in grains of H2O, measured to the top of the case mouth and also tell me the case brand.
Thanks in advance...sorry for any inconvenience...

Powder and Water Capacity:
Case capacity is measured by the weight of water a cartridge case can hold, which is a good indicator of the volume of gunpowder that can be loaded into it.
Estimated Value:
The 400 Whelen is a large-capacity cartridge, and published data generally places its water capacity between 90 and 93 grains.
Factors in Capacity:
The precise capacity can vary depending on the specific manufacturer of the brass, as well as the specific design of the cartridge.
For specific and exact case capacity values, it is best to consult a detailed reloading manual or the brass manufacturer's specifications.
