bigdoggy2bore50-375 State Arms single shot bolt gun
IHas anyone ever messed with a 50-375 cartridge, based on the 50 BMG case. I picked up a rifle made by State Arms, made by Klaus Hortzcamp, but not alot of loading info on it. It is said to launch 285 grain moly coated bullets at 5600 ft/sec. It is a big heavy gun with a 38" barrel and a big muzzle brake on the end of it. Weighs 49 lbs. Just curious if anyone is familiar with this round. I usually post on the big bore topic but thought I would mention this gun here, being a wildcat round.

bigdoggy2boreThe bullets with the Mach 5 rifle are 235 grains, not 285 grains.

Cutting Edge Bullets has some great 420 and 400 grain high BC bullets you will love for 2,500 yard shooting.

Tyler KempPics please! Any chance I can buy a dummy round? This oddball stuff is my style!

Love shooting precision and long range. Big bores too!

drewhenrytntCan you say 375 Plasma torch?!
I can't imagine a barrel lasting more than 150-200 rounds.

boom stickI wonder what powder will be best for barrel life.
In Bondurant there was a little bar at a lodge with a 50-110 case necked down to 375 among its cartridge collection. A hunter from Georgia carries the rifle for elk hunting.
